*If you are having thoughts of suicide, Klinic will make every effort NOT to call police. Because suicide is often a taboo topic, they want to be a safe place to discuss thoughts and feelings about suicide. They work from the assumption that if people are reaching out, they usually have some hope or some part of them that may want to live. Klinic only has a responsibility to intervene if someone is at immediate risk of killing themselves, is threatening someone else or they are concerned for the welfare of a child. Klinic does their best to work with callers around all possible options before calling police.
