Services: Provides information and resources about anxiety and help available. It is a peer-led organization with their staff having personally experienced and overcome the disabling effects of anxiety.   
Eligibility: Anyone over the age of 18 - targeting those who suffer from anxiety disorders. 
Cost: Most programs, including the intake, are free with exception of our ten-week cognitive behavioral programs ($75.00-$225.00 based on household income

Services: Provides social and recreational support in a supportive and safe environment. Operates 5 days a week and Wednesday evenings. Further details of support groups are available through direct contact with the CMHA or the organizations.  
Eligibility: Anyone 18 years of age and above who suffer from generalized anxiety, social anxiety or panic disorder.

Additional Information: Programs include: Community Wellness Initiative, Fisher Apartments, Portable Housing Benefit, Thrive Learning Centre, Senior Supported Group Living, Supported Housing. $3.00 hot breakfast on Friday mornings.  A Support Directory is available on their website with links, emails and phone numbers of other helpful and important organizations and branches.

Services:  Assessment, counselling, education and referral services are available to adults, children, seniors and teens when mental health is a concern affecting home, school, work or social life.  Psychiatry and psychology consultations are available in the region when necessary following an assessment.  Services are available in various communities across the region.  Specialists services may only be available in certain locations.

Mental Health 24 Hour Crisis Services

Services: Provides confidential, short term contact with a mental health professional with the goal of crisis resolution. Services are provided by phone or in person at the Portage District General Hospital.
